I had a dream the other night about two men spitting coffee on people below their balcony. Their reason? They didn't need one. And if they had to come up with one.... well lets just say they both agreed the people below needed a little perking up.

I realized afterwards that I was in a hotel room. It was a scorcher outside and the fireplace was booming with combustion. Surprisingly it wasn't the slightest bit uncomfortable in there. I walked out into the hallway next. The lights were bright and it gave the environment this sterile feeling. I knocked on the door across from where i exited (taking one of the mens' advice on not needing a reason), and out came this girl who had the gorgeous looks of your modern day pornstar. She told me this is where she came during the week where she could actually keep her clothes on. Good for her I thought.

As I kept walking down the hall It started to get warmer. I felt a trickle of sweat slide down my forehead. So I took off my coat. As I kept walking I kept removing more and more of my clothes. My comfort was slowly sliding away. As soon as I got to the front door of the hotel I was down to my boxer briefs. As soon as I stepped outside the heat was unbearable. I then noticed the reason the men kept spitting coffee to the people below them. They were all asleep on the ground in the middle of the day.

After I woke up I realized why I was so uncomfortable. My fan was broken. The heat conquered my bedroom. It was Tuesday and hell was with us. I put on my sunscreen and went against it head on. I wrote this poem later in the day:

Hot Tues.

Had a man

Who second guessed

himself by the pool

It was a Tuesday

Afternoon
Unusually warm

He could have

complained

Too busy

Second guessing
